UNCOMMON QUALITY CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES

Bracing is not an option for you to consider at extra cost. We won't build a pool without it. Concrete collars, also standard, are full perimeter, not spot-poured, and are a full 8 to 10 inches thick, not skimpy. After all, concrete is cheap, isn't it?

C.P.B.A. This stands for Concrete Pool Base Aggregate, otherwise known as Vermiculite. Our pool floors are thick. No one uses more material than we do. Also, we use the "real deal" - Schundler V-16, mixed with Portland Type II cement and water and none of that corner cutting, pre-mix stuff that's bagged with uncertain ratios of mix.

PLUMBING

We're proud of the fact that we use all rigid Sch.40 P.V.C. pipe and fittings. Far more labor is involved, but this is the same plumbing specified for commercial pools. Would you prefer anything less? No poly pipe with inserts to erode, clamps to rust away, or flex pipe termites to eat. We don't lose sleep worrying about how long our plumbing will last!

STAIRS

We won't build a pool without them. You'll probably spend more time in them than you think! Especially since we build ours with hydrotherapy fittings permanently fastened behind them. You'll have complete control of the quantity of flow and mix of air and water. Relaxing in your stairs may be more fun than swimming.

CUSTOM INSTALLATIONS

When other pool builders run away from your "special" backyard, we'll stick around and talk to you about what you had in mind. Just because an installation isn't going to be easy, doesn't mean a customer isn't worth serving. Often, there are simple remedies to complex problems if a builder has experience dealing with those problems, instead of avoiding them. Many times, for example, we've jack hammered ledge rock, rather than recommending a blasting contractor.
 
OPTIONS AND ACCESSORIES

Many items other dealers consider optional and extra are included in our pools. Such items as a pool light, automatic chlorine feed system, a high-end filtration system, a pool alarm (now a state requirement), and a temporary fence are included at no extra charge. There is also no surprise bill for sales tax at the end of the construction project. When a new pool client desires optional equipment, these accessories are offered at a substantial discount. One last point: NO ONE we know of will give you more supplies with your new pool. Typically, they'll have you coming to their store (if they have one) the very next week to buy chemicals and tools!
